Nationals Member for Tweed Geoff Provest MP has today welcomed five new probationary constables to the Tweed Byron Local Area Command.
After graduating from the Goulburn Police Academy on Friday, the new recruits begin their first day on the job today.
Members of Class 369, the recruits join the NSW Police Force at an important time for the state, following more than eight months of world-class training at the academy.
Member for Tweed Geoff Provest welcomed the new officers to the Tweed Byron Local Area Command and congratulated them on completing their training.
“On behalf of the Tweed community, I am pleased to welcome them to their new command.”
