Nationals Member for Tweed Geoff Provest MP has today confirmed that the 2026 Community Building Partnership program is open for applications.
“Not-for-profit community organisations and Tweed Shire Council are invited to complete an EOI for grants between $10,000 and $100,000 to help bring their local projects to life.”
“This year introduces a new application platform, featuring a two-stage process that begins with an expression of interest,” Mr Provest said
“Applications will be assessed against electoral district–specific priorities to ensure funding is directed toward community-focused projects that deliver the greatest local benefit,” he said.
The CBP program provides funding for practical improvements to key community assets, including sporting grounds, community halls, and other shared spaces that foster community connection.
Interested organisations and council are encouraged to apply before EOIs close at 5pm on Friday, 8 May.
Shortlisted EOIs will be contacted by the end of June 2026, with successful grants to be awarded in early 2027.
