Member for Tweed, Geoff Provest MP today announced applications are now open for the 2021 Community Building Partnership Program, unlocking $30 million for community infrastructure projects across NSW.
Mr Provest said $300,000 is available for projects in Tweed, and urged not-for-profit groups to apply for the funds they need to deliver projects with social, environmental and recreational outcomes.
“The Nationals in NSW Government Community Building Partnership program has awarded more than $362 million to over 16,600 projects since the program commenced in 2009.”
“If your organisation or club needs extra funding for the building, refurbishment or enhancement of facilities, then I’d strongly encourage you to apply.”
“Tweed sports clubs, charities and preschools are just some of the Tweed groups that have won grants from this program in previous editions,” Mr Provest said.
Applications are open from Monday 19 April and close at 5pm, Friday 14 May 2021. Applicants must read the program guidelines to ensure their club or organisation and proposed project are eligible.
