Surf Lifesaving clubs on the Tweed coast have another opportunity to further improve their facilities thanks to a $4 million grant program just opened by the Nationals in the NSW Government, Tweed Nationals MP Geoff Provest has announced.

“I would argue that here in the Tweed we have the best surf and the best surf lifesaving clubs in Australia and this is a terrific opportunity for them to be even better,” Mr Provest said.

“Our Tweed surf lifesaving clubs don’t just save lives, they are part of what makes us a strong and healthy community and provide invaluable skills and life experience to young locals.”

Grants of $30,000 to $350,000 are available for upgrade, restoration and construction projects.
