Patients in Northern New South Wales are set to see improvements in frontline emergency care, with 20 new paramedics now deployed across the region. Fourteen have been assigned to Tweed Heads, with a further six to be operating in Grafton, strengthening response capacity in both communities.
These paramedics are stationed at Tweed Heads Ambulance Station and Grafton Ambulance Station, enhancing out-of-hospital care and supporting NSW Ambulance’s mobile workforce across the North Coast.
Member for Tweed, Geoff Provest MP said, “Our local paramedics perform exceptionally under pressure, and these new team members will provide crucial support where it’s needed most.”
